Hi, I'm Helen, a Fireworks-accredited career coach specializing in helping mid-career professionals build confidence, discover work they truly love, and empower them with the tools to make a meaningful career change.
My own career transformation began over 15 years ago when I left a well-paid corporate job that was quietly killing me. Despite the impressive title, company car, and the allure of golden handcuffs, the role left me anxious, stressed, and disconnected. It was a career I stumbled into in my 20s, but by my early 40s, it no longer aligned with who I wanted to be.
The idea of leaving was terrifying — I worried about giving up the security and status. But the growing desire to make a positive impact, combined with the toll the job was taking on my mental health, pushed me to reconsider. The corporate culture that once excited me no longer felt right.
Then, everything changed. A chance introduction to a career coach and a series of transformative coaching sessions helped me see new possibilities. I realized how life could look outside that role and, most importantly, how to make the leap.
That experience inspired me to become a career coach myself. Today, I use a proven career change program to guide others through their own journeys of self-discovery and professional growth.
